return!!

IRL spaces!!

My first return to 3D was because I wanted to recreate my friend's room in vrchat
I spent a lot of time there fucking around and I've never felt that pictures and videos were enough to re-experience memories
so before he moved, booted up unity with my few hours of experience and got to work
About 30 hours later I had the unity basics down, picked up blender and had it up and running on my headset.
shoutout to this vid for teaching me like basically everything up to that point.
progress pic 1 (modeling and texturing in blender, most of the complicated objects were downloaded)
progress pic 2 (ported to unity for lighting)
final ver. and ported to vrchat
About a year later, it was my turn to move
Im lowkey sentimental about living spaces and I needed something to remember it by
so back to 3D it is
I put a lot more effort into making this one look more detailed and realistic, everything is measured to the millimeter
This one probably took around 50 hours.
